Question
We have been in the printing business since 2006. I have been outsourcing my press orders for the last 3 years, and now i had just decided to do everything in house, so I need a paper cutter that would help us start doing this. We are looking at the MBM Triumph 6550-EP Automatic Stack Cutter. Please help.

Answer
If you need a cutter to slice through high volumes of paper on a daily basis, then the 6550-EP Stack Cutter is an excellent choice. This machine will
actually cut a stack of paper three inches thick … that’s almost two reams of 20 lb. bond paper!
With the push of two buttons, the 6550-EP starts the cutting process with an automatic clamp that secures the paper. Then, a heavy-duty knife follows and quickly makes the desired cut. You may also program the machine to repeat frequently performed cuts. Lining up stacks of paper is made simple thanks to the handy optical cutting line.
We actually have a MBM Triumph 6550-EP Automatic Stack Cutter in our warehouse. We’ve used it for several years for trimming composition covers, report covers, business cards, papers and other similar items. The machine is not only durable but extremely reliable. It comes highly recommended.
